Done-For-You GoHighLevel Setup in 24 Hours
Setting up GoHighLevel from scratch takes most law firms 80–120 hours and produces results that work poorly. We do it in 24 hours and produce results that work like they were built for legal practice — because they were.
Twelve Configuration Tasks Required Before You’re Operational
Most lawyers underestimate the scope of “setting up GoHighLevel.” It’s not one thing — it’s a dozen interlocking configuration tasks, any of which can break the whole if done wrong.
- Account & sub-account architecture. For multi-attorney firms, deciding which features live at the agency level vs. sub-account level affects every later decision. Get this wrong and you’re rebuilding later.
- Pipeline architecture. 13 pre-built pipelines for different practice areas. Each pipeline has 8–14 stages with stage-transition triggers. Designed around how legal work actually flows.
- Custom fields & tags. 90+ tags for case type, lead source, urgency, language preference, attorney assignment. Custom fields for case-specific data (accident date, EEOC deadline, USCIS receipt number).
- Calendars & team scheduling. Each attorney’s calendar configured. Round-robin distribution rules. Practice-area routing. Buffer times. Time-off handling.
- Phone numbers & SMS. Twilio number provisioning, A2P/10DLC registration paperwork, brand verification, campaign setup.
- Email & domain authentication. SPF, DKIM, DMARC records. Sender reputation setup. Avoiding the spam folder is non-trivial.
- Form & survey configuration. Intake forms by practice area. Conditional logic. Required vs optional fields. CRM mapping.
- Workflow library. 50+ pre-built workflows, each tested across 80+ firms.
- Voice AI integration. VAPI / Retell connection. Voice persona selection. Practice-area-specific intake scripts. Transfer rules.
- Calendar & booking widget. Embedded on your website. Mobile-responsive. Multi-attorney support. Time-zone handling.
- Payment processor integration. Stripe / LawPay / Square connection. Trust-account-aware billing for IOLTA firms. Recurring billing for retainers.
- Reporting dashboards. Lead source attribution, conversion rate tracking, AR dashboards, attorney productivity views.
From Purchase to Live Operation
- Day 0: Purchase. $997 paid. Onboarding form sent. Snapshot prepared.
- Day 1: Snapshot delivered. Within 24 business hours, snapshot is installed in your GHL agency account.
- Day 2-3: Brand customization. Your logo, colors, voice, signatures, and contact info configured throughout.
- Day 4-7: Integrations live. Domain, email, phone, calendar, payment processor connected. A2P paperwork submitted.
- Day 8-15: Tuning & launch. 10 dedicated support hours used for refinement. Production launch with monitoring.
What “Done-For-You” Actually Means
“Done-for-you” is a term that gets abused. For us it specifically means: the lawyer’s time investment from purchase to live operation is roughly 6 hours total — for kickoff calls, brand approvals, and Q&A. Everything else happens on our side. No GHL configuration tabs to learn. No workflow node debugging. No A2P paperwork to fill out by yourself.
What we need from the firm:
- An hour kickoff call to understand your practice areas, geographic markets, and case types
- Brand assets (logo, colors, signatures) — typically 30 minutes of email back-and-forth
- Domain access (DNS records to be added — we provide the values, your IT person adds them)
- Decisions on configurable points (which attorneys handle which case types, what hours are “after-hours,” reminder cadence preferences)
- 30-minute training session at the end so your team knows how to use what we’ve built
That’s it. The total firm-side time investment is typically under 6 hours over 15 days. Compare that to the 80–120 hours required to do this from scratch.
What Happens After Day 15
Three options:
- You’re self-sufficient. The system runs and you don’t need ongoing help. You email us only for the rare issue. Most firms after 6+ months are in this state.
- You need ongoing maintenance. Hire a dedicated GHL VA ($700/month part-time, $1,250/month full-time). They handle everything inside GHL — workflow tweaks, new automations, integrations, content updates.
- You need occasional one-off work. Pay-as-you-go hourly at $20/hour. Useful for firms that don’t need ongoing support but want professional help when something specific comes up.
GHL Setup FAQ
Do I need to have GoHighLevel before I buy?
You'll need an active GHL account (agency tier or higher) for us to install the snapshot into. If you don't have one, sign up for the 14-day free trial at gohighlevel.com. We can install during the trial.
What does GHL itself cost?
GHL Agency Pro is $497/month. Agency Starter is $97/month but doesn't have all the features the snapshot uses. We recommend Agency Pro for production deployment. Plus your usage costs (Twilio for SMS/calls, voice AI per-minute) which average $80–$200/month for typical firm volume.
Can you install in an existing GHL account that has data already?
Yes — we install into a sub-account of your agency. Your existing data is unaffected. After review, you can choose to migrate existing contacts/data into the new sub-account or keep them separate.
What if I want to set this up myself with your snapshot?
Technically possible — the snapshot is a delivered artifact. But the 80–120 hour build estimate becomes 30–50 hours when you have a snapshot to import. Most firms find the $997 done-for-you path saves dozens of hours of attorney time worth far more than the price.
